I am sure you have been told the German language is really hard to learn, or you might have heard a native German speaker talking and thought “Oh no”. But is learning German hard? Well, not really. Like any other language, Learning German takes time and commitment. How Long Does It Take To Learn German
Learning German can be a bit difficult and may seem tricky to you at first but do not get discouraged. No fixed period guarantees success in mastering the German language, but the most important thing is consistency. You’re not going to wake up one morning and find yourself speaking fluent German.
Learning German may take a different time depending on several factors such as your prior experience and exposure to the language, your resilience, how much work you put into the learning process as well as your motivation. Daily practice daily for a period of at least three to six months, will probably be sufficient to handle a daily conversation in German. Generally, some people struggle more than others and need more time to acquire competency in German.
